1. In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and add the sugar, milk powder, and vanilla extract. Whisk them together until the sugar dissolves.
2. Slowly add the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt to the egg mixture. Stir until everything is well mixed.
3. Fold in the melted butter until the batter is smooth. If you want to add any optional flavors like sesame seeds or coconut, mix them in now.
Step 2: Cook the Cookies
1. Preheat your electric griddle or skillet to medium heat (about 350°F or 175°C).
2. Place a piece of parchment paper on the cooking surface to prevent sticking.
3. Pour about one tablespoon of batter onto the hot surface and cover it with another piece of parchment paper.
4. Use your spatula to press down gently on the batter and spread it into a thin layer.
5. Cook for about 4–5 minutes until the edges start to lift and look pale. Don’t flip it over; just let it cook on one side.
Step 3: Roll the Cookies
1. Once cooked, carefully lift the cookie with your spatula while it is still warm.
2. Roll it into a cylinder shape right away; this will help keep its shape as it cools.
3. Place the rolled cookies on a wire rack to cool completely.
